Garrett McLaughlin is a licensed athletic trainer, running coach, personal trainer, and active release techniques provider

With over a decade of experience in sports medicine and fitness, Garrett McLaughlin brings a science-based, results-driven approach to personal training, running coaching, and injury rehabilitation. He is a licensed athletic trainer, strength & conditioning specialist, running coach, and certified Active Release Techniques (ART) provider, known for helping clients move more efficiently, recover from injuries, and optimize performance.

Garrett’s credentials include a B.S. in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine from Quinnipiac University and an M.S. in Sport and Fitness from Florida International University. His expertise has been refined through internships with top collegiate and Olympic-level programs, including the University of Maryland, NC State, and the U.S. Olympic Training Center (Chula Vista). He has also provided medical support at prestigious events such as the Boston Marathon and USTA Dunlop Orange Bowl.

Now operating inside Raw Strength in Portage, MI, as well as remotely through his online coaching programs, Garrett specializes in helping clients with orthopedic injuries, movement inefficiencies, and performance plateaus. His coaching philosophy prioritizes quality movement, longevity, and injury prevention, ensuring that every client not only meets their goals but sustains their progress long-term.
