The functional movement evaluation can provide significant benefit in determining your baseline of function, including: strengths, weaknesses, imbalances, and asymmetries. Without it, treating an injury or starting a functional training program becomes a guessing game.
This 45-minute evaluation will look at each joint to assess flexibility, mobility, strength, stability, and joint integrity. And then a full-body, functional movement approach will be taken to determine how everything works together. One thing to realize is that the body can be deceiving when you look at individual joints versus movement patterns. Utilizing both to make an informed decision will allow for a more specific intervention and better results.
Following each evaluation, you will receive a detailed report with all findings. Obviously this leaves you with only knowing the problem areas. Therefore, Garrett will create an actionable plan for you to follow and start seeing improvements ASAP!
